Both rooms in this flat are available. Each one is 1000 € + your electricity bills (previously around 65 € each room).

Rent term is 1 October 2026 - 31 May 2027 (8 full months). We can arrange for a week earlier/later.

Shared bathroom, kitchen and large storage room for clothes. There is no shared sitting room but the rooms are big.

Included in the rent:
- Furnished private bedroom: double bed with clean mattress, washable mattress cover and freshly-laundered pillow, good quality duvet and clean wool blanket, work desk, chair, bedside table, lamps and with a small sofa in one of the rooms.
- Fully-equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes, cups, cutlery, fridge, electric cooking top and oven-air fryer.
- Fibre optic wifi.
- Washing machine (no dryer, we line dry or there is a launderette with dryers for 50 cents/10 min close by in the street).
- Building charges, building insurance and water is all included in the rent.

Not included in the rent:
- Electricity bills - 65 € a month each room with an adjustment at the end of the rental period (money back or a bit extra to pay, depending on your actual use).
- No other charges.

Metro station is La Chapelle, at the top of the 10th arrondissement. It's a very tiny Sri Lankan neighbourhood with chai vendors, Indian restaurants and is where all the Indian festivals take place. In about 25 steps you're out of it and in the Canal Saint Martin district with its hipster bars and cafés.

Gare du Nord is a 7-min walk away so public transport is really excellent: RER lines B (direct to airport), D and E, metro lines 2, 4, 5 and 7 plus buses.

Montmartre is 15 min walk away. 11th arrondissement (all the nightlife) starts 15 min away in the other direction.

It's a 45 minute walk to the Seine (or 2 stops on the RER B).

Ideal location for biking about. We have a safe place to keep bikes in our courtyard.

Need to know: Everyone will tell you not to live at La Chapelle because it has a bad reputation but it is totally fine here. Our building is inhabited by 30-somethings, mostly single women, and a few very respectable older people who have been here for years. Around the metro station is intense and busy but you will be absolutely safe and fine. I lived here (single female) for 10 years and never had a single incident. In fact, because it's ethnically mixed, the area is much more welcoming than the purely French neighbourhoods (iykyk!). If you're not sure, look at Google street view, come visit, look around plus I can give you the numbers of previous tenants.

This is a homely home, not a party flat.

Conditions: Proof that you can pay your rent, a photo of your passport and 1500€ deposit to secure each room. I'll refund the deposit in full when you leave so long as everything is left as found.
